BEC + BRIDGE is on the lookout for a talented Garment Technician / Pattern maker to join our close-knit team in a part-time capacity. This role will sit at the intersection of technical precision and design flair, perfect for someone with an eye for detail and a love for bringing beautiful garments to life.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and who understands the ins and outs of both garment construction and pattern refinement. You’ll be working across multiple categories, supporting our Design & Production teams to ensure every piece meets the BB standard.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing garment fits and construction from development to production
- Creating detailed Tech Packs and specifications for all offshore production styles and all production processing
- Managing and archiving all design IP
- Performing quality control checks on production shipping samples
- Working closely with our production team and designers to assess and adjust fit, balance, and make
- Using your pattern-making skills to modify and refine patterns during the development process
- Collaborating across departments to maintain product integrity and consistency
- Working closely with our pattern-making team to maintain design integrity

What we’re looking for:
- A proven background as a Garment Technician and Pattern Making (5 years of experience)
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrications, and fit
- Proficiency in StyleCAD is essential
- A calm, solutions-focused communicator with great attention to detail
- Someone who brings passion and a collaborative spirit to the team
This is a part-time role (3-4 days per week) based at our Waterloo head office, ideal for someone seeking flexibility while still immersed in the heartbeat of Australian fashion.
