ABOUT THE ROLE
As General Manager – Growth Marketing, you’ll play a strategic and commercial leadership role at the forefront of CA ANZ’s member value focus. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll shape and deliver growth marketing strategies across the full member lifecycle—from acquisition and activation to retention and advocacy. Leading a high-performing team, you’ll harness data and digital tools to drive innovation, align marketing with enterprise strategy, manage budgets and performance metrics, and ensure marketing is a key driver of business growth and member value across Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities:
- Shape and execute growth marketing strategies aligned with CA ANZ’s business goals and member-first philosophy.
- Lead high-impact campaigns across the full member lifecycle—acquisition, activation, retention, and advocacy.
- Collaborate with the CMO to set annual priorities, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring member value and commercial outcomes.
- Build and mentor a growth mindset of digitally savvy, high-performing marketing team, uplifting capabilities in digital and paid media.
- Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Use data, insights, and a test-and-learn approach to optimise performance and drive strategic growth.
- Provide expert marketing advice to senior leaders and influence cross-functional alignment.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, agency partnerships, and operational planning.
- Oversee performance tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement of marketing initiatives.
- Lead transformation initiatives and contribute to enterprise-wide strategic projects.

- 10+ years’ experience in marketing, with a strong track record in growth and performance marketing
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environments
- Expertise in CRM, marketing automation, digital channels, and analytics
- Experience managing external agencies and digital partners to deliver business outcomes
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex plans into actionable results
- High emotional intelligence and inclusive leadership style
- Skilled in navigating change, leading transformation, and fostering innovation
- Experience with Adobe Marketing Suite, Marketo, and Adobe Analytics (desired)
- Background in member/customer engagement and global or Trans-Tasman organisations (desired)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications
