About the Role
This is a hands-on, technically rich opportunity for an emerging Geologist who thrives in underground environments and enjoys seeing the direct impact of their work. Reporting to the Senior Underground Geologist, you’ll play a key role in daily mining operations, working with our mining contractors to maintain safe production, while minimising ore loss and dilution. You’ll effectively split your time between underground and office-based tasks, working closely with all mining and technical stakeholders to maintain geological integrity and support mine planning functions.

About You
You’re a qualified Geologist or Geoscientist with experience in underground gold mining, ideally 2–6 years, and ready to take the next step. You’re confident with geological mapping, stope inspections, and validating haulage data. You know your way around Deswik, Leapfrog, and geological databases, and you’re motivated by technical ownership and continuous improvement.
While underground gold experience is preferred, we’re also open to candidates with backgrounds in base metals such as copper, lead, or zinc, who are keen to transition into gold.
