Job Description
Due to ongoing growth and some exciting project wins, AECOM is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Sydney office.
You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from a strong team of geotechnical engineers, pavement engineers and engineering geologists, of all levels.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Overseeing completion of desk studies, ground investigations, factual and interpretive reporting, and undertaking geotechnical design
- Assist in preparation of bids and proposals and attend meetings with contractors and clients, both external and internal.
- Mentor, develop and guide junior engineers whilst playing an active part in growing your team in size and capability.
Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
- Solid field competencies (highly valued)
- Confident using specialist software such as PLAXIS, SlopeW, gINT and the Rocscience suite.
- A current NSW driver’s license (or equivalent).
