This full-time leadership role offers an attractive salary package ($110k + super) + vehicle, with sponsorship (subclass 482) available for the right candidate. Relocation support and temporary accommodation will be provided to help you settle in with ease.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of a well-established and professionally run motel. This includes staff management, guest services, maintenance coordination, and financial oversight, ensuring a smooth and memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of motel operations: front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
- Supervise and train staff to uphold high service standards
- Handle guest inquiries, bookings, complaints, and reviews with professionalism
- Manage budgets, procurement, and stock control
- Ensure WHS, fire safety, and legal compliance across the property
- Collaborate with the broader leadership team to implement marketing strategies and business improvements
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and tourism stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality management (motel or hotel preferred)
- Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Sound financial acumen – budgeting, reporting, inventory, and cost control
- Competence in hotel/motel reservation systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/public holidays
- Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience)
- Must be willing to relocate to Tamworth, regional NSW
