About this position
Working across all functions of human resources, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of efficient and effective Human Resources services to the employees of the City.
You will work in a team of experienced HR practitioners with an opportunity to support and lead a range of projects across all disciplines within the HR function including Industrial Relations, Recruitment and Selection, and Learning and Development.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Substantial experience in the delivery of Human Resources services.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- A high level of planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to coordinate personal workload with minimal supervision.
- Effective interpersonal skills to engage and build positive business relationships and influence positive outcomes.
Essential requirements
- Current driver's licence.
- Tertiary qualification in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, Business or equivalent, and/or substantial relevant experience.
- Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
