- Band 6 Salary from $44.95 - 49.88 per hour, plus superannuation
The Information Services department is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic ‘ICT Governance Officer’ to join our team on a part-time ongoing basis.
This role will suit someone with strong administrative skills who can support and provide advice through effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
The ICT Governance Officer holds multiple responsibilities-
- For ICT Governance - manage and organise the implementation and support of integrated Information Communications Technology (ICT) governance, risk and compliance best practice, aligned to recognised standards and frameworks to deliver secure and reliable systems.
- For ICT Risk Management – enhance risk awareness across the ICT department, ensuring ICT risks are identified and documented, whilst monitoring relevant controls and actions.
Overall, the ICT Governance Officer helps maintain the integrity, security, and efficiency of ICT operations within the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Governance or compliance (preferably within an ICT environment), and for customer service to the extent that it relates to delivery of services.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to train and support others to pre-determined outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience with writing policies, procedures and standards, including familiarity with using set procedures and policies to guide decision making.

- Qualifications and experience as listed above.
- Demonstrated experience as listed in the Specialist Skills and Knowledge section.
- Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the corporate values.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including a proven ability to communicate effectively with those of varying technical understanding.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with an ability to learn.
- Experience working in a governance or compliance role (preferably within an ICT environment).
