Make an Impact

We are seeking a strategic and experienced ICT Governance, Risk and Compliance professional to join our ICT Leadership team. Reporting to the Head of ICT, this role is responsible for ensuring Endeavour Foundation’s technology systems operate securely, efficiently, and in alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

You will lead ICT planning, governance, risk management, compliance, performance reporting, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to the delivery of safe, innovative, and value-driven technology solutions. This is a key leadership role that supports the development and implementation of ICT frameworks, policies and assurance activities, ensuring we meet high standards across safety, security, and service delivery.

Key duties of this role:

Planning and Strategy

  • Support the development and maintenance of the ICT strategy and roadmap aligned with Business goals.
  • Guide ICT direction in collaboration with governance bodies and business stakeholders.
  • Lead governance management across ICT demand, financial controls, compliance, regulatory requirements, architecture standards, and vendor relationships.

Governance

  • Define and embed policies, processes, and decision-making structures that guide ICT strategy and operations.
  • Manage ICT investment, delivery performance reporting, and oversight of deviations to ensure issues are addressed and improvements implemented.
  • Coordinate governance committee processes and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Risk Management

  • Manage and mitigate technology-related risks, including cybersecurity, data privacy, business continuity, and third-party dependencies.

ICT Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations (e.g. ISO, APPs).

Stakeholder Relations

  • Strengthen relationships between ICT and business divisions to support strategic outcomes.

What you can bring to the team

You are a confident communicator and collaborative leader who can build strong relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders. You demonstrate strategic thinking, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and values-based leadership.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in ICT Governance, Risk and Compliance within complex or regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing GRC frameworks aligned with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, NIST and ITIL.
  • Strong track record of leading risk assessments, control evaluations, and audit readiness across ICT.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

You will be required to undertake a “Fit2Work” National Criminal History Check and hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
