About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide expert-level leadership, operational direction and innovative thinking across Metro North Mental Health (MNMH) leading Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drug (MHAOD) information systems innovation through consultation, programming, and deployment.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Provide a highly efficient, responsive ICT application support function for the Metro North Mental Health consistent with best practice and ITIL methodologies.
Provide expert, informed and timely management and authoritative counsel, policy advice and processes to the MNMH Executive Leadership Team on MHAOD information system issues including impacts on clinical practice, workforce planning, training and professional development, management of clinicians, research, policy development and education.
Develop, implementation, and evaluation of a strategic plan to ensure MNMH alignment with HHS and state MHAOD information technology system initiatives, as well as portfolio projects managed on behalf of the MNMH Executive Leadership Team.
Manage staff performance within the Mental Health Information Systems team, rectifying issues as they arise using Restorative, Just and Learning Culture approaches.
