We are currently recruiting for an Associate to join the Financial Institutions team in Sydney. We are a leading coverage team covering clients across financial institutions in Australia and New Zealand, including banking, insurance, specialty finance, asset and wealth management. You will play a key strategic role in advising clients on M&A, financing and other significant corporate activities.
Responsibilities
- Conducting market and industry research within the financial institutions sector in Nomura.
- Organizing and preparing marketing materials, presentations and assisting in client relationship management;
- Responsible for the development of valuation models, pro-forma financial statements and comparable company analysis
- Assisting in due diligence, transaction management and liaising with internal and external stakeholders;
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Investment Banking or other boutique advisory experience;
- Minimum of 2 years of track record in Australian M&A transactions;
- Advanced financial modelling and financial analytical skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Good Presentation skills;
- The ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines;
- A strong sense of personal integrity and teamwork;
- A high level of energy and a keen desire to learn new concepts;
