Skills and Duties:
- Install, configure computer hardware, software, systems, servers, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Respond in timely manner to all service issue requests
- Provide technical assistance support in person or over the phone
- Onboarding new starter IT requests
- Terminating user management via the internal offboarding process
- IT Asset Management
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology and training users
- Performing Helpdesk and IT based tasks
- Provide on the job training as required
- Have a strong commitment to safe work environment and continuous improvement
- Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Personal Qualities:
- Strong Literacy and numeracy skills
- Quick thinking and advanced problem-solving skills
- Savvy Analytical skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service outlook
- Significant technical knowledge within a previous Helpdesk role
Essential Requirements:
- Degree qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent
- Current driver’s licence (C class minimum)
Desirable Requirements:
- Degree qualifications in engineering or systems administration
- ITIL qualifications
And most importantly … demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers!
Those candidates successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing.
