Join Our Team as an IT Project Associate – Fixed Term Contract to April 2026
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about driving project success through precision and collaboration?
As an IT Project Associate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Project and Management teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. This dynamic role involves maintaining key project documentation, tracking progress and financials, processing vendor invoices, and analysing data to support informed decision-making across multiple programs and projects.
This is a fixed term contract to April 2026, that can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.
Duties and Responsibilities / A day in the life of an IT Project Associate –
- Support project planning, scheduling, and resource time-sheeting in collaboration with project managers.
- Maintain consistent documentation, templates, and assist with change and risk management processes.
- Facilitate audits and quality reviews, ensuring compliance and audit-ready records.
- Prepare status reports, track KPIs, budgets, and timelines, and analyse data to identify risks and improvements.
- Manage PMO tools and systems (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and support new process/tool implementations.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications, organise meetings, and follow up on action items.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a project support or coordination role.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Excel).
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
