We’re looking for a passionate and skilled IT Support Coordinator (Level 2) who’s ready to take on a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. From troubleshooting complex technical issues to supporting major systems and delivering IT projects, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact in an environment that thrives on teamwork and innovation.
This full-time opportunity would require the successful candidate to work Tuesday - Saturday.
About the role...
Be the go-to IT expert - providing advanced support across hardware, software, networking, POS systems, Wi-Fi, and Microsoft 365 to keep our busy venue connected.Solve complex technical challenges - troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, then implementing smart, lasting solutions (and preventing them from happening again).
Keep our systems strong - maintaining servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and business-critical applications.
Look after our infrastructure - supporting firewalls, switches, wireless networks, WANs, VPNs, and phone systems, ensuring everything is secure and reliable.
Drive IT projects forward - from planning and scoping to execution, you’ll collaborate with our IT Administrator, Managed Service Provider, and vendors to deliver improvements and upgrades.
Champion cybersecurity - monitoring risks, assisting with audits, and supporting incident response to keep our club safe.
Train and support users - guiding staff with patience and professionalism, and translating technical terms into clear, user-friendly solutions.
Keep us future-ready - identifying ways to streamline IT processes, enhance security, and improve the overall user experience.
What we're looking for...
- IT, Computer Science or related qualification or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of IT support experience, system administration and infrastructure management.
- Solid technical knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), and backup/recovery systems.
- Experience with firewalls, WANs, VPNs, IT Ticketing and phone systems.
- Cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- A natural problem solver with great communication skills who can provide professional, user-friendly support.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
- Flexibility to participate in after-hours support rotations.
- An interest in Australian Rules Football - beneficial for connecting with the Club and Team Members.
