We’re looking for a full-time Kitchen Hand to join the BOH team at our Rose St (Fitzroy) venue. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, works well with others, and takes pride in keeping things clean, organised and moving efficiently.
You’ll be part of the team that supports daily service, maintaining the dishbay, assisting with prep, and contributing to the smooth operation of one of Melbourne’s most iconic kitchens. We’ll provide hands-on training and development to help you grow with confidence.
What the role involves:
- Keeping the dishbay clean, organised and running smoothly
- Supporting the kitchen team with light prep and cleaning tasks
- Following systems to uphold cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards
- Working early morning shifts and assisting with daily pack-down
- Collaborating with a large, fast-paced team
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Is reliable, detail-oriented and calm under pressure
- Communicates clearly and works well in a team
- Is open to feedback and enjoys routine and structure
- Has full working rights in Australia
- Has flexible availability, can work weekdays and weekends
- Full-time hours (38 per week) with a consistent roster
