Role purpose
The key purpose of the Leasing Paralegal is to instruct, negotiate and finalise leases and associated tenancy documents in a timely manner, as well as provide initial advice on the interpretation of lease documents and retail tenancies legislation. The role works closely with the leasing, development and shopping centre teams and is also responsible for instructing solicitors to ensure lease documentation is prepared and finalised in accordance with approved terms.What will you bring?
You will be an experienced Leasing Paralegal, with exposure to at least one state-based retail regulatory framework. You will have excellent interpretive, analytical and communication skills and the ability to work independently whilst managing competing priorities. You will be known for your experience in interpreting and negotiating leases to deliver commercial outcomes whilst minimising legal and commercial risk to the Vicinity Centres’ business.
