We are currently seeking a diligent and organised legal assistant to join our Migration Law administration team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our operations, providing invaluable support to our legal professionals and contributing to the success of our migration law team and wider practice.
This role is essential in assisting in the smooth operation of the Migration Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing phone calls, filing, scheduling appointments and conferences, preparing files, reports and correspondence along with providing general administrative support to the entire group.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Assisting our migration law team with the preparation of legal documents and filings
Manage client records, filing systems, and databases ensuring all documents are accurately filed, organised and easily accessible.
Schedule and coordinate appointments for clients and legal staff.
Liaise with clients, courts and other external parties as required
Adhering to strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Provide support to reception, accounts and the wider firm as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a legal setting would be preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively with a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and independently

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
