The Role

As a legal secretary, you will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our legal processes. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Liaising with clients and staff
- Diary management and travel booking
- Preparation of legal documents
- Preparation of correspondence (emails, memos and letters)
- Monthly billing
- Managing all electronic documentation
- Completing finance related documents including trust accounting
- Other office tasks as required (reception cover, stationery ordering, court filing)

Requirements of the role
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills across the Microsoft suite, in particular Word and Powerpoint and a working knowledge of Excel
- Experience using document management and billing/time recording systems (such as FileSite, Expert or similar)
- The ability to manage the workflow of multiple fee earners
- Flexibility and be adaptable, proactive and be able to work unsupervised
- A positive attitude and team player approach, no matter what the task
- Strong organizational and file management skills and initiative
