Salary range per hour: $31.65 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 40 hours per fortnight

Role description
In collaboration with fellow Lifestyle and Leisure Team members, this role is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, documenting, and evaluating the activities program for residents. This is done in consultation with the Nurse Unit Manager, Community Health Team Leader, and other relevant staff or volunteers to ensure the program meets the needs and interests of residents.
About you
Essential:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience or a strongly demonstrated interest in Lifestyle and Leisure Programs, or a willingness to complete.
- A commitment to the philosophy of aged care where residents' independence, choices and privacy, dignity and confidentiality are respected and their independence is encouraged.
- The ability to interact with older people in a positive, friendly professional manner
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to plan, record and evaluate an activities program.
- Previous experience working with residents in a residential aged care facility.
- Demonstrated interest in diversional activities and a commitment to providing a residential activities program.
- Ability to work in and contribute to a supportive team environment.
- Satisfactory Police Check
- A current Victorian Driver's License
