About the role
Based in Ramingining at our Dinybulu Lodge, you will manage the daily operations of the 21-room accommodation facility and provide guests with a positive experience. You will also develop local staff and provide Yolgnu team members with meaningful training, employment, and career pathways.

This position is based in Ramingining, NT

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical and administrative support for the operation of the lodge including stock control, cleaning, equipment management, purchasing, logistics, rostering, scheduling repairs, and undertaking maintenance.
  • Propose and support activities to build the client base including internal and external marketing, promoting online bookings, and community organisation engagement.
  • Utilise the ALPA Registered Training Organisation to assist in and support the training of Yolgnu staff.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience managing a lodge or accommodation facility.
  • Experience in adhering to and reporting key performance indicators in a supervisory role.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and ethnic origin.
  • Previous experience Little Hotelier booking system is desirable.
