Maintenance IT Contract Support

- Clerk Grade 7/8 - Salary $113,574 to $125,720 + superannuation and leave loading
Your role
The Homes NSW division of Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a Maintenance IT Contract Support to support the implementation and use of business systems related to asset maintenance.. This position helps ensure systems and processes run effectively to support housing service delivery.
What you’ll do
As part of the System Insights team, you will provide support relating to the Maintenance IT contract system with the objective of minimising downtime, rectifying issues and escalating matters to the appropriate business areas. You’ll serve as an advisor and expert to support and develop solutions that align with business objectives and will be responsible for ensuring our systems are supported and able to deliver accurate data through regular analysis, evaluating and reporting on system performance.
Working within this dynamic team, you will be required to work closely with stakeholders to generate innovative solutions in response to differing levels of risks and problem complexities. You will also be responsible for:
- Facilitating and supporting the implementation and use of business systems and processes
- Overseeing operational support for key platforms such as Salesforce, Youreka, MuleSoft, HOMES, Ariba and Service Now and others
- Identifying and assessing risks associated with system implementation and operational activities, including data integrity, user access, and system performance
- Providing informed recommendations for mitigation strategies to reduce potential impacts, ensuring continuity, compliance, and alignment with organisational standard
- Managing multiple support requests in response to differing levels of risks and problem complexities while aligning with business timelines and priorities
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an IT professional who is committed to providing high quality, accurate service and support to a range of stakeholder levels. You will have experience in a solutions-oriented role where you were required to manage issues with tailored solutions.
You also have:
- Experience working in an IT support role or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of current practices in database administration
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Flexibility and availability to travel both locally and regionally, including overnight travel, as required by the business and/or directed
