Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee property operations at Oaks Perth Hotel. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical skills, leadership experience, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and presentation standards in a busy hotel environment.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across the hotel
- Manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs
- Lead and support the maintenance team, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and fire regulations
- Monitor budgets, stock, and reporting to ensure cost-effective operations
- Work closely with hotel management to support smooth guest experiences
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role (hospitality preferred)
- Strong knowledge of building systems, plant, equipment, and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage contractors and lead a small team effectively
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Trade qualification or relevant technical skills highly regarded
