As the Major Assembly Records Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the part details of all Major Assemblies (Inc.; Landing Gears, Engines, APU’s and Thrust Reversers) are recorded in the Maintenance Information System - TRAX in accordance with CASA CASR 42 regulations. This position will interface closely with the Configuration Control, Receipts Inspection, and Fleet Development teams, providing support and assistance where required.
Key responsibilities will include:
Complete Major Assembly build in TRAX at receipt
Ensure regulatory compliance is maintained
Review of Major Assembly records to ensure back to birth data integrity including but not limited to utilisation records and engineering maintenance documentation
Drive business and process improvement and initiatives across the department to improve compliance
Work closely with MRO Facilities to ensure quality of documents post repair
Identify new methodologies and technology enablers to improve safety and compliance
Work closely with the Engineering Leadership Team to identify and actively manage any safety related issues across the fleet

We’re on the hunt for someone who has:
Experience in the TRAX Maintenance Information system (preferable)
Knowledge of Aircraft Configuration
Knowledge of Aircraft Technical Records
Knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations pertaining to the maintenance of aircraft records specifically CASR 42
Ability to communicate & negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Process driven, with experience in constructing new processes to deliver business goals
Highly motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
Able to build effective working relationships, enjoy working in a team
Ability to identify shortfalls in current processes and procedures, and willingness to recommend and document improvements
Familiarisation with MRO Documents and Systems, such as Engine (IAE) and Landing Gear Systems (SAFRAN) would be an advantage
Familiarisation with ICA Documents, such as Service Bulletins and CMM’s would be an advantage
The successful applicant will be a team player who can demonstrate excellent organisation skills and an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal, diplomacy and computer skills are also essential along with the ability to effectively negotiate positive outcomes.
