BOQ Group has a new role in Group Finance supporting the Performance Management team on a permanent fult ime basis.
The purpose of the Manager, Capital Decision Support is to play a key role in capital analytics, reporting and governance. The role reports to the Head of Capital and is responsible for developing tools and reporting for distilling insights, coordination of the Capital Working Group as well as support forecasting and day to day monitoring of the Group’s capital position.
Key Objectives include:
- Develop reporting and support business on monthly capital generation and usage.
- Provide reporting on capital insights and present findings to the Capital Working Group.
- Coordinate meeting materials for the Capital Working Group including preparation of meeting agenda and collation of meeting materials.
- Interpret prudential standards and provide advice on the capital implications of business activities.
- Support capital reporting for external financial disclosures (Interim Financial Report, Annual Report and Results Presentation) and related analysis.
- Contributing research and collating industry data to support capital planning papers.
- Support modelling and analysis in relation to the annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and APRA Industry Stress Tests.
About you
- Knowledge of banking prudential standards relating to capital adequacy.
- ertiary qualifications in Finance, Actuarial or Accounting. Post graduate qualifications desirable.
- Experience gained within treasury, big four bank or consulting firm desirable.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to distil insights from large datasets and communicate findings that relevant to business stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills. SQL experience required and TM1 experience desirable.
- Effective communicator and ability to engage with a wide cross section of stakeholders.
