Due to continued growth, we have two exciting opportunities for experienced Material Handlers to join our Works Planning team at our Gracemere Depot — one permanent position and one 12-month fixed-term contract.
In these hands-on roles, you’ll carry out a variety of warehousing activities to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently, all while maintaining a strong commitment to safety. If you’re organised, proactive, and enjoy working as part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role:
- Perform routine inventory management processes and warehouse tasks to support customers and daily site operations.
- Manage, coordinate, and deliver critical materials to support the Network Maintenance teams and approved contractors.
- Conduct internal and vendor held stocktaking as required including cycle counts as directed and advise where product does not comply or is not correctly catalogued/ identified.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse security and safe operating conditions.
- Provide skilled high-risk plant and equipment operational support to the site as required and adhere to general housekeeping requirements.
- Safely loading, securing and unloading of materials for delivery vehicles.
About you: We’re looking for someone with solid inventory management skills, a current forklift licence, and hands-on experience in a busy, large-scale logistics setting.
- Competence in SAP Materials Management or equivalent.
- Mandatory HR forklift ticket is required with min 2 years’ experience.
- Strong understanding of policies and procedures.
- Hold other high-risk tickets for mobile plant operations (highly desirable)
- Basic Microsoft Suite capability including Outlook, Excel and Word.
