Tell me about this role:
Seeking expressions of interest for Material Logistics Officers to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will see perform Logistics tasks related to Defence Maritime programs.

What will I be doing day to day?
- Perform ILS functions, in particular Spares Inventory Management
- Conduct procurement of maintenance spares
- Lead tender activities to procure maintenance stores requirements for the long term
- Assist Platform Manager to establish, manage and monitor principles, procedures and systems
- Create and maintain complex management tools using common commercial software e.g. Excel spreadsheets & Access databases
- Perform basic Warehousing tasks and contribute to compliance with stocktaking and auditing regimes
What sort of skills do I need?
- Demonstrated experience in operating within a Logistics management systems
- Demonstrated experience in the use of inventory management systems across a range of functions
- Proficiency in a range of ICT programs that allow the capture, interpretation and presentation of bulk data
- Strong communication skills
- Process orientated with good attention to detail
- Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
