Richmond Medical Practice is a bulk billing Medical Centre in the heart of Richmond. We are looking for an experienced (preferred) Medical Receptionist to join our team that is available to work weekdays between the hours of 8:45am and 6pm and flexibility to work weekends, if required.
This role is for a PART TIME Medical Receptionist.
You role will be to support the daily operation of our practice and GPs. The responsibilities will include management of the front desk reception
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing phone calls and enquiries, greeting patients
- Management of appointments and patients
- Handling of emails and faxes promptly
- Routine cleaning of the practice and ensure the consulting rooms are kept neat and tidy
- Processing of payments using HICAPS terminal
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in medical centre (preferred)
- BestPractice software experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical billing (MBS item numbers)
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Computer literacy skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
