Express Cardio Services is a well-established team of leading specialists providing cardiology services to patients across eastern Melbourne. They are seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a full-time receptionist/technician. Medical experience is not required, as training will be provided. The practice has three locations: Box Hill, Glen Waverley, and Ringwood East. The ideal candidate will be primarily based in Ringwood East but needs to be flexible to work at any of the three locations as required (same-day travel between clinics is usually not necessary). The successful candidate can start immediately.
Administrative duties:
- Meeting and greeting patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Scheduling patient appointments and attending to inquires
- Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently
- Invoicing and receipting of patient appointments
- Attending to doctors’ requests
- Assisting to cardiac technologists
- General maintenance of premise environment for smooth day-to-day operations
Technical duties:
- Following established procedures to assist with ECG and ambulatory monitors
- Preparing written documentation as required
- All other duties as reasonably assigned
Essential Criteria:
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Proficient computer literacy
- Good multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and under general supervision
Desirable skills:
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Holding a degree in Science (or relating field) being an advantage
- Able to speak a second language
Remuneration will be dependent on experience.
