The position serves as an advisor to management on People & Culture-related issues whilst acting as an employee champion and change agent.
The position will work in conjunction with the business and the People & Culture function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organisation. The position may include international & global People & Culture responsibilities and will report to the Senior P&C Business Partner. This role maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its immediate, mid-range & long-term plans, its culture and its competition. Provide day-to-day advisory guidance on people matters to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with the Senior P&C Business Partner and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, build relationships, and increase productivity and retention.
- Ensuring employee and manager queries (via ticketing system) are handled to completion in a thorough and timely manner.
- Dealing with Various P&C queries throughout the business.
- Manage employee relations issues – including conducting effective, through and objective investigations.
- Partners with legal/finance and external parties as needed and required to resolve complaints/concerns.
- Escalate serious matters requiring attention to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner.
- Supports with development of contract terms for new hires, overseas hires, promotions and internal transfers.
- Oversee visa processing and support on complex visa queries.
- Be across all processing for onboarding new employees and assist when required.
- Provides People & Culture policy guidance and interpretation.
- Assists with HRIS & other system implementation and enhancements.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. .
- Support with People & Culture projects as required.
- Partnering with Senior Leadership Team to support broader P&C deliverables.
- Case manage WHS and RTW cases with a focus on proactive management, early intervention, and support by providing workplace advice.
- Business Acumen & exemplary Communication Skills (both verbal and written).

- Relationship Management, Employee Engagement and Stakeholder Management.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant discipline.
