Spot on Motorcycles has served Melbourne’s inner‑north riders since 1975. We specialise in quality pre‑owned and LAMS‑approved motorcycles, plus full workshop services: diagnostics, servicing, smash/frame repair, engine, suspension and electrical work.
Role Overview
- Use specialised diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults in motorcycles, including engines, braking systems, suspension, steering, and transmissions, across a range of major brands such as Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati, Harley Davidson, KTM, Triumph, BMW, Aprilia, and Husqvarna Motorcycles
- Perform scheduled maintenance and routine servicing such as oil and filter changes, fluid top-ups, and replacement of tyres, brake components, and other wear items according to manufacturer specifications
- Conduct thorough safety inspections and test rides to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance, compliance, and roadworthiness
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines and related systems, ensuring proper fitment, alignment, and fine-tuning of all mechanical components for motorcycles from both Japanese and European manufacturers
- Recommend appropriate repairs, parts replacements, and preventative maintenance plans tailored to specific motorcycle brands, while maintaining accurate service records and job documentation
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment, working collaboratively in a team-oriented setting and following workplace health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Technical diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with motorcycles
- Proficiency in diagnostics, hand/power tools, and service manual interpretation
- High attention to detail and strong customer communication skills
