The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales/Key Account Manager to support the National Business Manager to Manage the Sales & Marketing operations and key customer relationships with the following National Accounts: Plumbers Coop, BIGA group, Bunnings, Swan Hardware, Independent Hardware Group, Winnings, Electrical wholesalers & other retail groups.
Based at our Rydalmere Office and operating nationally, this role involves managing key account sales and marketing strategies to drive performance. It includes managing/achieving sales budgets, maintaining pricing and advertising budgets, negotiating trading terms, strengthening client relationships, coordination & execution of sales and marketing initiatives with state teams, delivering training, and supporting the National Business Manager with broader strategic initiatives.
About you
The role would suit a driven Sales Manager/National Account Manager with experience across the plumbing and building industry who is committed, passionate, energetic, and reliable. You will also have:
- Tertiary Business/Sales and marketing qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ sales/ key account experience in medium to large corporate organisation
- Building/Plumbing industry experience is beneficial
- Experience contributing to negotiations and developing commercial trading terms
- Experience in developing, managing and execution of joint sales and marketing/promotional plans
- Experience utilising CRM systems & AI Tools
- Proficient in MS (Excel, Word, Teams, PPT, SharePoint etc)
- NSW Drivers licence
