NDT Technician
Perform non-destructive testing on materials and components to detect defects without damaging the tested items. Ensure structural integrity and safety compliance across industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct NDT inspections using ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual testing methods
- Inspect welds, castings, pressure vessels, and structural components for defects
- Operate and calibrate NDT equipment including flaw detectors and radiographic systems
- Interpret test results according to industry codes (ASME, AWS, API, ASTM)
- Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially radiation safety
Required Qualifications
- NDT Level II certification in relevant methods
- 2-5 years NDT experience
- Knowledge of industry standards and inspection codes
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel
