About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to lead delivery of Nuclear Medicine Services within The Prince Charles Hospital, with expert managerial and clinical knowledge using high level communication skills. Support best practice and build strategic direction for Nuclear Medicine Services at a Health Service, hospital and professional level for TPCH.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Provide expert knowledge and skills in clinical nuclear medicine services across the full scope of nuclear medicine examinations.
Comply with legislation and utilise procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
Investigate, interrogate and analyse new and emerging Nuclear Medicine imaging techniques, using established research principles and methodology, applied to clinical practises to implement best practice Nuclear Medicine services and report to departmental and facility executives and directors
Collaborative with other Queensland Health lead Nuclear Medicine Technologists, provide direction to and be responsible for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Statewide Educator.
