ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Office/Event Administrator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional value to our members. Working closely with the Member Engagement Manager & Regional Manager SA/NT, you will support a broad range of administration, initiatives and activities designed to foster connection, enhance engagement, and uphold governance excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a key contact for members and committees, providing support and fostering strong relationships.
- Support governance activities, including meeting preparation, minute-taking, and records management.
- Ensure smooth office operations, manage administrative tasks, and promote a positive team culture.
- Collaborate with other divisions to enhance member experience and deliver regional engagement strategies.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute select member events, social functions, and regional communications.
As a strong communicator who places members at the centre of your work, you are trustworthy, efficient, and detail-oriented, with a talent for problem-solving. Your positive attitude and collaborative spirit make you an invaluable team player, always ready to support colleagues and help drive initiatives forward. You will also demonstrate:
- Prior experience in event or service management.
- Strong administrative skills, including governance support and minute-taking.
- Exceptional communication skills (internal and external).
- A growth mindset with the ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, detail-driven environment.
- Flexibility and agility to meet evolving organisational needs.
