Assetlink is seeking an experienced and results driven Operations Manager to lead operational excellence across Victoria while driving client relationship success across a national portfolio. This unique role blends strategic operational leadership with proactive account management, ensuring seamless delivery of services, contract compliance, and long-term client partnership growth.
About the Role
You will be the primary leader for all labour-based operational projects in Victoria, overseeing performance, compliance, and safety across multiple sites. Simultaneously, you’ll act as a trusted partner to key clients, fostering productive relationships and delivering service excellence that exceeds contractual expectations. Working closely with the General Manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, drive process improvements, and strengthen Assetlink’s market position.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and deliver operational strategies for Victoria, ensuring safety, compliance, and service standards are met or exceeded
- Partner with clients to maintain and grow strong, long-term relationships
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across operations and accounts
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to managers and site teams
- Monitor and manage financial performance, budgets, and resources
- Ensure adherence to OHS/WHS, environmental, and quality standards
- Identify opportunities for account growth, retention, and service evolution
- Represent Assetlink as a subject matter expert within the industry
What You’ll Bring
- Proven senior leadership experience in operations management within a service industry (facilities, retail, hospitality, or similar)
- Demonstrated success managing high-value, complex accounts at a national or multi-site level
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L responsibility
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
- Ability to lead and inspire culturally diverse teams across multiple locations
- Track record of driving operational efficiency, safety culture, and client satisfaction
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or related discipline preferred
