Operations Officer - Roadside Assistance Operations

About the role

Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting operational excellence? RACQ is seeking an Operations Officer to join our Roadside Assistance Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth coordination of administrative functions and supporting our frontline teams who keep Queensland moving.

  • Administrative Excellence: Provide high-level support including data entry, report preparation, and coordination of tools, uniforms, and equipment for the Roadside Assistance Network.
  • Payroll & Financial Processing: Accurately compile and process patrol officer pay, overtime, and allowances, and manage purchase orders and expenses using the DAX system.
  • Database & Travel Coordination: Maintain staff patrol databases and organise trip plans and travel arrangements for managers.
  • Project & Event Support: Assist with Roadside Assistance projects and coordinate administrative functions for the RACQ Operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills and a commitment to RACQ values.

About you

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator with strong communication skills, proven experience in managing payroll and operational support tasks, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
