The Role
This position is Permanent Part-Time 33 hours per week Monday to Friday Term Time Only. (Split shifts)
- Fun and Inclusive Environment: Collaborate with the Coordinator to create a safe, engaging space for primary school-aged children to learn, play, and thrive.
- Compliance: Adhere to SCECS policies, manage children’s records and booking schedules, and act as the responsible person in the Coordinator's absence.
- Engaging Programs: Assist the Coordinator and the OSHC team in developing exciting play-based learning programs to help children reach their full potential.
- Community Building: Foster meaningful relationships with the school, parish community, and collaborate on school events and community engagement.
What We Look for in You:
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
- Certifications: Hold a certificate of training in child protection and full first-aid.
- Legal Requirements: Possess a NSW Working with Children check and have current and valid working rights in Australia.
- Qualifications: Qualifications in Child Education and Care or the willingness to work towards them are desirable.
- Positive Attitude: Bring a fun and positive attitude to work!
