About the Role:
Our Gatton Branch is looking for a Parts Interpreter – Leading Hand! Join our dynamic team, with the opportunity to learn about all things John Deere. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who is looking to step into a hands-on role within a workshop or dealership.
While experience in parts is preferred, we’re able to provide training and support in this area. What we are really looking for is someone who can lead a team, provide day-to-day guidance and step in to help when needed.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
- Provide leadership, support and hands-on guidance to the parts team
- Provide sales / parts interpretation support to internal and external customers.
- Generate parts quotes / purchase orders / Invoices using our dealer management system.
- Interpret parts requests by utilising parts catalogues and various other resources.
- Assist with stocktake
- Perform supplier invoice receipting and coding as required
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Previous leadership or team management experience
- Parts experience is beneficial but not essential (training provided)
- Maturity, positivity, and an excellent work ethic
- Basic understanding of inventory accountability
- Excellent customer service and professional presentation
- Intermediate MS Office skills with the ability to become proficient in parts interpretation and dealer management software.
- Saturday Roster
- Willingness to participate in a rotating roster (one to two Saturdays per month)
