About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join Bert Newton Retirement Village, in Highett as a Personal Care Worker. This is a permanent part time position working one of the following shift blocks:
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 0700 - 1300 (Low Care)
- Thursday, Friday & Saturday 0700 - 1300 (Low Care)
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 1500 - 2100 (Low Care)
- Thursday, Friday & Saturday 1500 - 2100 (Low Care)
- Wednesday & Thursday 1500 - 2300 (Low / High Care)
- Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 1500 - 2100 (Dementia Care)
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 1500 - 2100 (Dementia Care)
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 0700 - 1500 (Dementia Care)
Please express in your application the shift block you're interested in, split shifts will not be considered.

- Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
- Follow our resident's individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for mum and dad
- Use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app myRyman
- Work closely with, and support your colleagues creating a great team environment
About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- Certificate III/ IV in Ageing Support or Certificate III in Individual Support
- Kindness in your DNA
