THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Planning Assistant to join our Replenishment Team. The purpose of this role is to provide vital administrative support, helping to manage inventory through to store level, ensuring stock availability and accuracy across the business.
As a key support to the Inventory Manager and Planners, you’ll assist with stock monitoring, data maintenance, reporting, and stakeholder communication. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Replenishment Team
- Act as the first point of contact for store queries
- Maintain accurate data across various inventory systems
- Ensure integrity and consistency in stock management processes
- Monitor orders and track stock arrivals
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet inventory needs
- Assist with stock planning for new store openings and renovations
- Support promotional campaigns through stock management and tracking
- Produce ad hoc reports as required
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience in a retail or inventory-related environment (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong numerical and data entry skills, with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently liaise with stakeholders
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Willingness to occasionally attend meetings or training outside of normal working hours
- Comfort working in an office environment, including tasks such as lifting items, using stairs, and spending extended periods at a desk
