About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking a driven and motivated PMO & Compliance Officer to join our Project Management Office (PMO) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team based at Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane. In this exciting position, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and governance support facilitating effective implementation of the Teys Project Delivery Process (PDP).
Reporting to our Enterprise Lead PMO & Risk, the role will manage quality, consistency and oversight of projects across the group by developing and maintaining project management frameworks.
Responsibilities also include facilitating the delivery of the annual capital and maintenance plans while preparing reports and minutes for the PMO team and the Business Investment Review Board.
Additionally, this position will undertake governance activities of contract lifecycle managing the receipt of CAPEX requests, drafting agreements, coordinating the distribution of executed contracts, and ensuring proper close-out procedures and the release of bank guarantees.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Advanced communication, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, adaptability and the ability to work under pressure.
- Technical skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially excel, SharePoint and PowerApps, iLeader) and Salesforce CLM.
- Previous experience in project management or project controls.
- Experience in working with JDE systems – Project Costing, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft PowerApps iLeader and Salesforce CLM.
- A bachelor’s degree or certificate qualification in construction management, finance, business, accounting or related discipline.
- Knowledge of PMBOK, Prince 2, and Agile Project Delivery Process Principles and Project Life Cycle.
Desirable:
- Exposure or direct involvement in composing company/industrial legal binding contracts.
- Relevant experience within the food processing industry.
- Knowledge of financial principles and processes related to projects.
- The ability to prepare reports, analyse project performance, and present findings to stakeholders
