The Shine Lab at the University of Sydney invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position in the field of Multiscale Systems Neuroscience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative research team focused on advancing our understanding of brain function and cognition using cutting-edge computational and neuroimaging techniques.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
conduct original research in the areas of computational neuroscience and functional neuroimaging
prepare research findings for publication in reputable scientific journals
collaborate with members of the Shine Lab and external collaborators to enhance interdisciplinary research efforts
process and analyse functional neuroimaging data (fMRI, EEG, etc.) to extract meaningful insights into brain function.
About you
a PhD in Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field.
strong background in computational modelling and/or functional neuroimaging techniques.
proficiency in programming languages commonly used in neuroscience research (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
excellent written and verbal communication skills.
proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
