Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a skilled Power Platform Developer to take on a hands-on role in designing, building, and maintaining smart, scalable solutions. This is a newly created and permanent opportunity, with exposure to exciting programs of work for AFCA such as Scams and AI. Typically in this role you will:
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools — including Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Build and customise canvas and model-driven apps tailored to business needs
- Develop and maintain Power Pages portals that are user-friendly and scalable
- Create and optimise Power Automate workflows to streamline and automate business processes
- Design and implement data models, connectors, and integrations with external systems
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for actionable insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders to research, analyse, and evaluate business and system needs
- Identify and address system limitations and inefficiencies to improve performance
- Test, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure reliability and performance
- Maintain high standards by writing and updating program code, technical documentation, user guides, and procedures
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users with a customer-first mindset
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform technologies such as Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Portals/Pages, Canvas & Model Driven apps
- Experience with JavaScript
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge and experience with supporting and developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is highly desirable
