About the Role

The key work of the role involves:

Supporting the strategic vision of the department through knowledge of the Education strategy, Equity and Excellence: realising the potential of every student, Ready for the Future phase;
Proven ability to liaise and work effectively with a wide range of key stakeholders; including school senior schooling key leaders (HODs, Deputy Principals, Heads of School and Principals), Department of Trade Employment and Training Training (DTET) VETiS personnel, regional stakeholders who support senior secondary outcomes including Regional School Industry Partnership Manager (RSIP), School Supervisors, First Nations and Youth Engagement regional teams as appropriate.
Recent or current knowledge of senior schooling practices and priorities of Queensland state schools regarding monitoring retention, attainment and post-school destinations for every student in senior secondary through a shared case management approach;
Recent or current knowledge of Curriculum/syllabus requirements of senior schooling set out by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA), Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) requirements set out by Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) and recent or current knowledge of the VET/training system and requirements set out by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
