The primary accountabilities of the Senior Project Officer include:
- Contribute to complex data collection, forecasting, research, analysis, and consultation to support project delivery and inform project recommendations.
- Set realistic goals, establish balanced work priorities, and implement continuous improvement to successfully coordinate concurrent project activity across the DFV project within agreed timeframes.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of project support to maximise benefits realisation.
- Prepare high quality reports, briefing notes, and presentations on designated project outcomes, findings, and recommendations.
- Assess and monitor the quality of activity tracking, identify relevant trends and issues, and develop strategies to improve the quality and consistency of information provided to the Executive leadership.
- Establish and implement contemporary project management methodologies and techniques to assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate project activities within tight deadlines and competing demands.
- Work autonomously, and as a member of a high functioning and collegial team; including the ability to be adaptable and flexible to deal with and manage changing priorities.
- Utilise information technology and data management systems in the preparation of reports, submissions, briefing notes, and other documentation as required.
- Ensure the timely provision of communication and advice to relevant staff and key stakeholders.
