Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you'd be doing in this role:
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA — and this role is no exception. While the current focus is on helping shape how Canva drives value, communicates plan differentiation, and grows our self-serve business, the scope may evolve based on business needs and your strengths. And we like to think that’s all part of the fun.
At the moment this role is focussed on:
As an education PMM focused on district admins and classroom growth, you’ll sit at the intersection of user insight, product strategy, and education impact. You’ll own enablement and engagement for district admins — delivering onboarding toolkits, lifecycle content, and training materials that support adoption at scale.
But your scope won’t stop at content: you’ll also help shape our classroom product roadmap by surfacing unmet needs, tracking competitor moves, and working closely with Product and Sales to ensure we’re building for the real-world complexity of schools.
You’ll champion the admin audience within Canva, build compelling narratives about our impact in education, and drive growth by ensuring every admin sees Canva as essential to their school’s success.
Lead the development of admin enablement content, including onboarding hubs, rollout toolkits, and facilitator training resources.
Create and manage lifecycle campaigns to keep district admins engaged and active, from newsletters to webinars to in-product nudges.
Serve as the voice of the admin within the product team, bringing user insights, rollout barriers, and classroom feedback into roadmap decisions.
Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand the full buyer and user journey, and develop programs to unlock broader district adoption.
Shape strategic narratives that connect Canva’s capabilities to classroom outcomes, and support go-to-market efforts that speak to real admin needs.
Conduct competitive research and market analysis to understand how we stack up, and what we need to win more deeply in education.
Help build scalable systems (e.g. insights loops, playbooks, dashboards) to enable the broader team and scale Canva’s education impact globally.
Support education launches and initiatives with strategic messaging, product positioning, and rollout support.
You're probably a fit if:
We’re looking for a strategic, insights-led PMM, or strategic marketer looking to move into PMM, who’s passionate about education and excited to scale Canva’s impact in classrooms. You’re deeply curious about the needs of schools, teachers and students, eager to dig into the details of product and policy, and excited to shape how Canva shows up in the education space.
You love thinking end-to-end — from messaging and lifecycle to product and partnerships — and you bring a clear point of view on how we can better meet the needs of our education audience.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
Experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or customer education — ideally with a B2B SaaS or EdTech background
A strong ability to translate insights into strategy, and strategy into impactful messaging, content, or product improvements
Great collaboration and communication skills — you’re comfortable working across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Education experts
Strong empathy for our community and a bias toward simplifying the complex
Comfort with data and research, and a hunger to understand what’s working, what’s missing, and what could be better
Familiarity with how education systems work (bonus if you’ve worked in or marketed to K-12 school systems or EdTech buyers)
A proactive, self-directed approach and eagerness to take initiative and drive clarity
