Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Own and drive the product vision for Australia-based contributions to the Sportsbook Platform (SP), ensuring alignment with broader FDJ objectives.
- Act as the primary interface between the Head of Product Engineering and the local product teams.
- Represent the Australian product function in cross-regional planning, reporting, and delivery syncs.
People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop all Product Owners in the Australian office.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture focused on delivery, innovation, and customer value.
Product Development & Agile Delivery
- Oversee roadmap management and quarterly planning across multiple squads.
- Translate business goals into actionable product roadmaps, epics, and stories.
- Ensure cross-functional delivery readiness, coordinating with design, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., Trading, Compliance, UX, Data Science) to prioritise features based on business value and feasibility.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and performance transparently and regularly.
- Manage capacity planning and maintain visibility into short and long-term delivery risks and dependencies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product ownership or management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of sportsbook or online gambling platforms.
- Proven experience managing agile teams and cross-regional collaboration.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort using data to drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with working in highly regulated digital environments is an advantage.
- Experience working with distributed teams across Europe or APAC is a plus.
