The Role: Project Controller
We’re looking for a proactive Project Controller to support bids and projects across their lifecycle. You’ll provide financial oversight, manage risks, and partner with project teams to drive strong performance and results. This is a full-time permanent role based in William Street, Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial performance of bids and projects, ensuring compliance with processes and controls
- Validate financials at key bid reviews (Commitment Control, Gate 2 & 3)
- Set up projects (WBS/CBS, budget allocation, risk and opportunity management)
- Monitor and report on budgets, forecasts, variances, and overall project performance
- Ensure accurate sales, margin, revenue, and cash flow reporting
- Partner with project teams to manage risks, recovery plans, and end-of-project reviews
Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree qualification (preferred)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Solid finance experience across bids and projects
- Proven ability to optimise processes and business performance
- Skilled in managing large data sets and cost analysis
- Strong stakeholder management, attention to detail, and communication skills
