As our Project Officer, you will:
Assist with the designing and building of dashboards, reports and solutions using Microsoft 365 Applications
Assist in collation and distribution of monthly departmental and project reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement to support enhanced service delivery.
Assist with the development of project documentation, including formal project management plans, budgets and action plans.
Assist with identifying emerging issues and contribute to solutions that will mitigate risk and achieve project outcomes.
Provide support in ensuring projects are completed within quality standards and to the highest level, ensuring that relevant policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken occurs.
Maintain project/program files in accordance with departmental regulations, policies and other statutory obligations.
Assist with researching and preparing quality reports, submissions, briefing notes, presentations and other correspondence as required.
Actively participate and contribute to project activities including risk identification and mitigation strategies.
Be able to quickly develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a timely and quality outcome.
Essential requirements
Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in project support, application of project management principles and techniques or information system support would be well regarded.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in Microsoft 365 Applications.
Travel throughout the state may be required on occasions.
