This is a senior leadership opportunity to own the state’s P&L, expand service offerings, and strengthen client relationships while guiding complex construction and fitout projects across NSW.
About the RoleAs Projects State Lead – NSW , you will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of our NSW Projects division. You'll manage project lifecycles, ensure compliance with industry and internal standards, lead business development efforts, and oversee a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery including scope, design, tendering, construction, and handover
- Full P&L ownership for NSW Projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and Coordinators, driving performance and culture
- Champion WHS, environmental, and quality standards across all projects
- Act as Senior Project Manager on key or high-risk projects
- Strengthen relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Identify growth opportunities within existing FM and project accounts
- Support business development, proposals, and bid submissions
Essential:
- 10+ years’ experience in senior project delivery or leadership roles within construction, fitout, or infrastructure
- Strong commercial acumen with proven P&L management experience
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management
- Deep understanding of WHS, QA, contract administration, and compliance standards
- Exceptional client engagement and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Trade or postgraduate qualifications
- NABERS or Green Star accreditation
- Experience with Aconex or similar platforms
