About the role
As a Ranger, you will be working with the team at Dandenong Valley Parkland to deliver a range of park services as directed by the Ranger Team Leader to enable efficient and effective delivery in accordance with the Regional Action Plan. You will be accountable for the delivery of on the ground works including, but not limited to track, assets and vegetation maintenance, road and carpark maintenance and visitor services. You will be offered training, learning and development opportunities to deliver a level of environmental and service expertise.
We're looking for someone with:
- Authorised Officer (AO) accreditation, or the willingness to be trained as an AO to undertake compliance activities on behalf of Parks Victoria.
- Practical skills and experience in the maintenance and operation of small power equipment and tools for asset maintenance
- Experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
